SpaceX Dragon
The SpaceX Dragon is a free-flying spacecraft designed and built by SpaceX, an American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company founded by Elon Musk. The Dragon is the first commercially-built and operated spacecraft to successfully dock with the International Space Station (ISS).

The Dragon is the first commercially-built and operated spacecraft to successfully dock with the International Space Station (ISS). The Dragon spacecraft consists of a pressurized capsule and an unpressurized trunk section, providing ample space for cargo. It was initially developed as a cargo spacecraft to transport supplies, experiments, and other payloads to and from the ISS. The Dragon is launched atop SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket and has the capability to carry up to 7,291 pounds (3,310 kilograms) of cargo. In addition to its cargo-carrying capabilities, SpaceX has also developed a crewed version of the Dragon spacecraft known as Dragon 2 or Crew Dragon. This version is capable of carrying up to seven passengers to and from low Earth orbit (LEO). In 2020, the Crew Dragon successfully completed its first crewed mission, called SpaceX Demo-2, transporting NASA astronauts to and from the ISS.
