The selection process is highly competitive, with candidates from 64 countries competing for around 100 scholarships each year. The scholarship covers all university fees, provides a living stipend, and offers additional financial support for travel and various other expenses. Over the past century, the Rhodes Scholarship has produced an impressive network of accomplished individuals, including Nobel laureates, politicians, academics, and activists. The program is administrated by the Rhodes Trust, which strives to promote values of "truth, courage, devotion to duty, sympathy for and protection of the weak, kindliness, unselfishness, and fellowship.
