Oz played important roles in creating and performing fan-favorite characters such as Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Animal from The Muppet Show, as well as Grover, Bert, and Cookie Monster on Sesame Street. In addition to his puppeteering work, Oz also directed several successful films, including the musical Little Shop of Horrors and the comedies Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Bowfinger.
